Next Project - 2012 Christmas Elf!

It's that time of year! Time to draw my 2012 Christmas Elf! Yeah! Every year I draw at least one picture of my original design Christmas Elf. Usually most of her costume stays fairly consistant but depending on my inspiration or mood I may make a few modifications. I hope that she turns out well this year.

I've been watching Gurren Lagann again lately (which is a great anime series if you haven't seen it before) and I was inspired to draw a mash-up that will bring together two bad-ass anime heroines who wear hotpants. Yoko from Gurren Lagann and Faye Valentine from Coyboy Beebop. I'm also thinking of trying to add in the two cute animal mascots from those series as well for this mash-up. I can't wait to get started on this one. :)

Next Project - Original Character Reboot

Within my gallery there are a couple of examples of an original character named Elizabeth that I have been developing over the past few years. Now she's going to get a 2012 make-over and if my pencil sketch is any indication this new version is going to be darker and sexier than ever before! Here's hoping that the final version trurns out well.

I really appreciate your comments and faves. Putting my stuff online for folks to see was a really huge deal for me and it has really inspired me to draw more. Hopefully you'll stop by my gallery again sometime. Now that Christmas is almost here it'll soon be time to draw the 2012 version of my Christmas Elf character.
